Who is Violet's Velvet Box? TOP

My name is Julie and I am the owner and creator of Violet's Velvet Box.  My daughter Violet is my inspiration for my beautiful creations!  When she was born I tried to find cute hair accessories and tutus and found that nothing that I wanted existed! I desired adorable bows and fancy headbands, not the cheaply made single bows I was finding at popular retail stores. I was able to find some decent tutus, but they were so expensive!  I simply could not find reasonably priced, high quality accessories for little girls.   

Thus I created Violet's Velvet Box.  I offer boutique style, high quality items at affordable prices. From one mom to another, I know how precious your little girl is to you and how important it is that she looks like the princess she is!

How do you Ship? TOP

We ship via usps first class if your package is under 13 ounces (bows, hats).  These take 2-5 days to arrive.  We ship priority mail with a tracking number for larger packages (tutus, multiple items), and these arrive within 2-3 days.  Everything is handcrafted and production time is currently running at about 4-5 days for bows and 5-9 days for tutus.  If you need your package ASAP, please leave a comment at check out, and I will put you on the top of our priority list!

Return Policy TOP

I am sorry but we do not accept returns.  All items are handcrafted for you and are made to order.  If your item is defective in anyway, please conact us (to the left) and let me know right away.  If you send your item back within 2 weeks I will exchange it for you .  I cannot be held responsible for normal wear and tear of my items.  This includes snags on the tulle of tutus.  Reminder: Please do not put tutus in washing machines!!  Spot clean with cold water and hang to dry.  If they get wrinkled, hang in bathroom near hot steamy shower and hand fluff- the wrinkles will fall out.

Tutu, Shirt and Pettiskirt Care TOP

Tutu Care:

Spot clean only with cold water and mild soap. Do not put in washing machine.

To de-wrinkle: steam in bathroom with hot shower(works best) or spritz with cold water and carefully fluff layers by hand.

***Please remember that tutus and clips have small parts and although they are firmly attached, small hands may work at pulling them apart!  Supervision is required at all times!

 Pettiskirt and Shirt care:

*Pettiskirt may need to be steamed upon arrival.  To dewrinkle, hang petttiskirt near hot steamy shower.

Wash cold on delicate cycle and hang to dry. 

*zebra shirt/appique shirt can be washed in cold water after flower is removed.  Lie flat to dry to avoid fading from dryer.  Do not use fabric softeners!
